As higher education teachers we are faced with new challenges as our classrooms have become globalized. We may not expect that students from diverse cultural and language backgrounds will relate to the same teaching materials in the same ways and we need to adapt to this reality – but how?
Programme host Klara Bolander Laksov, senior lecturer in Higher education and programme guest Meeri Hellstén, associate professor in international and comparative education at the Department of Education, Stockholm University, discuss international student transitions into new learning environments in higher education.
