Welcome to a workshop on teaching and learning with Centre for the Advancement of University Teaching (CeUL).

This workshop is aimed for university teachers at Stockholm University

About the workshop

Research suggests that assessment and examinations form some of the most important elements of higher education studies and have a big impact on student approaches to their learning.

During the workshop we will consider how you, as a teacher, can determine; your students current knowledge at the start of class (diagnostic testing) as well as their understanding and performance during class and at the end of the period of study.

We will also consider formative and summative dimensions of assessment.
