Welcome to a workshop on teaching and learning with Centre for the Advancement of University Teaching (CeUL).
This workshop is aimed towards teachers or other personnel at Stockholm University who would like to create a teaching portfolio or further develop the one you already have.
About the workshop
This workshop addresses teaching portfolios for which teachers have a need when they are searching for a new position or a promotion within academia. Today development is occurring, which includes a larger focus on pedagogical meriting within universities and higher institutions in Sweden and abroad, making writing a teaching portfolio increasingly important. Another aspect is that when one’s own pedagogical development is documented and analysed, there is incentive to increase the quality of teaching, which in turn benefits the development of the institution.
During the workshop we will
- Talk about teaching meriting
- Begin writing from your pedagogical viewpoint
- Begin writing from a personal teaching example
- Discuss assessment of teaching merits
