The application code for spring 2018 is SU-31431. Information is also sent by e-mail to all students in September.


The eligibility requirement for the second semester is 15 credits in Business Administration from semester one. The eligibility will be verified before the registration for the second semester.

Registration for semester 5 at SBS

You who are admitted to the program will be guaranteed a place if you:

Notify no later than 15/4 before the autumn term or no later than 15/10 before the spring term and meet the eligibility requirement: 45 credits from Business Administration I and II (semester 1 and 2 on the programme)
If you are on semester 4 VT-19 you will receive a questionnaire/survey via e-mail in order to choose the elective SBS courses for semester 5. If you haven't received an email, please contact Malin Thunholm: bachelor@sbs.su.se.

Semester 6

Global Management students will register for the sixth semester by applying for Business Administration III via www.universityadmissions.se / www.antagning.se. The eligibility requirement is 120 credits within the programme, including 45 credits in Business Administration. Students who wish to major in Finance must also have taken 15 credits in Finance and 15 credits in Statistics. Please note: Students need to log in to www.universityadmissions.se / www.antagning.se through the Stockholm University student portal to access the application for the course. In order to be guaranteed placement in their selected specialization, Global Management students must meet the eligibility requirements and apply for Business Administration III within the programme no later than October 15, 2019 for spring 2020.

Degree requirements

 

Semester 1

During the first semester grounds are set within the Business Administration field of study. Courses focus on principles of the four major subject areas within the field and provides a solid base for further knowledge development.

Semester 2

The second semester of the Bachelor’s programme in Global Management is focusing on connecting the two areas of studies within this programme. This term is envisioned to be the bridge between the social sciences and humanities, involving other perspectives than business administration and languages in the courses.

Students should formally apply for the second semester courses via www.universityadmissions.se  / www.antagning.se no later than October 15.

The eligibility requirement for the second semester is 15 credits in Business Administration from semester one. The eligibility will be verified before the registration for the second semester.

Semester 3

The third semester is the beginning of one year language studies within the programme. Besides introduction to the language itself, studies contain a broader perspective on culture, country and other aspects. More information about the specific courses taken can be found on each language department’s website.

Students should formally apply for the language course(s) via www.universityadmissions.se / www.antagning.se no later than April 16, 2018. 

Semester 4

Continued language studies. Students should formally apply for the language course(s) via www.universityadmissions.se / www.antagning.se no later than October 15.

Semester 5

During the fifth semester you can pursue your own study interest and choose from a wide range of elective courses at the university. You can even take your electives in business administration at SBS. The enrolment in electives in Business Administration is done through a web survey that will be sent out in mid-March and the deadline usually April 15.

Students who wish to study other subjects than Business Administration during their elective semester are welcome to apply for such subjects via universityadmissions.se / antagning.se. Please note that no placement is guaranteed in other courses than Business Administration electives at SBS. 

If you are interested in studying abroad via exchange, you may apply via SBS or the language department you studied at. We recommend you to take courses in business administration abroad in your chosen language or courses in or related to your chosen language abroad. In both cases the application term is semester 4. Information about exchange opportunities via SBS can be found here For details about exchange studies in the chosen language please contact your language department. Students can also apply for exchange placement via the central International Office at Stockholm University. The application period is generally one year ahead of the exchange semester.

Semester 6
