The 1st EMIC conference programme included 22 presentations with various inspiring themes derived from emerging markets related research. Professor Jeremy Clegg, Professor Fredrik Tell and Professor Tony Fang were the three keynote speakers who encouraged more research initiatives directed towards emerging markets topics for inspiration and theory rebuilding. The EMIC Conference was organized by the Emerging Markets Cross-Cultural Research Group, a Stockholm Business School (SBS) based network of researchers undertaking emerging markets research from cross-cultural interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches.
