Research areas
In the scope of our research programme we are exploring how various technology, management, and institution induced changes lead to new ways of working and organizing. We study technologies and actions at micro levels in order to understand how innovations diffuse and migrate to macro levels.
The themes of our current projects include: (1) the advent of social media and the impact of social technologies on work and organisations, (2) the emergence of new business models and ideas, such as ‘open innovation’, knowledge-based models and strategies, and (3) the rise of new social, institutional, technological and cultural trends that shapes and is shaped by the so-called creative industries. Other research topics are related to innovation and change in and between organisations.
