In this seminar I intend to:
- give an overview on how modern statistical models and methods are being used to address demographic issues - by way of examples of methodological contributions at the 2019 PAA Meeting, and
- present preliminary results from my two contributions at the meeting:
- results from Dynamic Modelling of the effects of education on divorce risks (joint work with Parfait Munezero) and
- results from Diagonal Reference Modelling (DRM) of the effects of educational differences among couples on health-care utilization among women
If time-allows, I may also present some results from an on-going work on Bayesian Discrete-time Modelling of Environmental Recidivism Data.
Time 3 April, 1 - 2 pm Place: B705
