What? Informal meetings where we discuss programming and many other little things we do on our computers to be more productive. Just sign up for as many topics you like at any date. The typical talk will probably be between 5 and 20 minutes. No need to be super-prepared, but try to be concise in your presentation. I expect that many of us will do a live demo of the thing we present.
Why? To share information about useful things in the world of computing and computers. To help us all be better teachers, researchers, statisticians, and, who knows, maybe even better human beings.
When? The next Tech Talks will be via Zoom. Sign up to receive the meeting link. All meetings are otherwise on Thursdays at 4 PM in B705, unless stated otherwise.
Next meeting will be June 11th at 1 pm.
How? The next Tech Talks will be via Zoom. Sign up to receive the meeting link. Usually the one hour of talks are in B705 and then we continue the discussion over a drink and maybe food in the kitchen area. Bring your own food and drinks.
Sign up: Contact
professor Mattias Villani. Tell Mattias when you sign up if you want to give a short talk - it's very informal and just a way to share thoughts and come up with ideas.
