During the course you will learn to carry out simulation experiments. You will work with the statistical softwares SAS, R and Matlab and you will achieve knowledge about numerical matrix algebra, equation solution, function optimization and simulation techniques and basic principles in numerical computation and probability distributions.
Special eligibility requirements: 112,5 ECTS credits in Statistics, including Probability Theory, advanced level, 7,5 ECTS credits, Inference Theory, advanced level 7,5 ECTS credits, Multivariate Analyses, advanced level, 7,5 ECTS credits, or equivalent. Swedish upper secondary school course English 6 or equivalent.
