Statistical Methods, 7.5 credits

The course takes real life presentations of problems as starting-point through which a large number of models and methods, advantages and disadvantages are discussed.

The course also provides deeper knowledge of evaluation of models and creating predictions with the use of models. The students work independently on a number of cases. A key objective for the course is to help choose a topic for the Master Thesis.

Special eligibility requirements: 97,5 ECTS credits in Statistics, including Statistical Theory of Science, advanced level, 7,5 ECTS credits, or
equivalent. Swedish upper secondary school course English 6 or equivalent.
Study pace: 50%
