Abstract

Latent variable models are applied intensively in social and behavioural sciences and increasingly adopted in medical and other natural sciences research. Data collected for different research purposes can often be characterized with ordinality. The complexity of the data structure may require models to reveal linear and non-linear structures. In this talk I will concentrate on non-linear models and recent development in this area.
