Kortkursen arrangerades av SUREC som är ett nystartat centrum vid Statistiska institutionen. SUREC:s syfte är att att få till relevanta samarbeten mellan andra institutioner, organsiationer och statistikansvariga myndigheter.

About the instructor

Andy Peytchev is a Senior Survey Methodologist at RTI International, and instructor at the Odum Institute, University of North Carolina, where he has taught on measurement of survey nonresponse. His project experience includes developing survey designs to measure and reduce nonresponse and nonresponse bias, and developing tools based on paradata to monitor survey outcomes during data collection. His grant-funded research includes experiments to reduce nonresponse bias, use of aggregate and of commercially available data for nonresponse adjustments, and the use of multiple imputation to correct for unit nonresponse. Peytchev holds a Ph.D. in Survey Methodology from the University of Michigan. His main research interests are in nonresponse, measurement, and total survey error, with particular focus on interviewers, paradata, adaptive designs, use of auxiliary information, and choice of statistical methods to achieve more efficient estimates. He served as founding associate editor of Survey Practice and is currently associate editor of Public Opinion Quarterly.
