Following the Swedish government’s decision to ban gatherings of more than 50 people and given the ever serious situation with the COVID-19 outbreak, the Future of Financial Information conference is moving online! As much as we regret not being able to welcome all speakers and participants to our beautiful Kräftriker campus, we are confident in the quality of insights the conference will provide and see this as an opportunity to lower the barriers to participation and attract an even broader audience. Please see the Program tab for details.

Keynote Speakers:
Darrell Duffie, Stanford University
Lily Fang, INSEAD

Focal points for the 2nd edition will be information flows in over-the-counter markets and the role of information intermediaries. Furthermore, we will consider all empirical and theoretical papers exploring new and perhaps unexpected sources of information, as well as developing novel tools to turn raw data into value-relevant insights. Skeptical takes, highlighting the trade-offs involved in letting machines, rather than humans, interpret and trade on information are also welcome. While such topics are present at general finance conferences, looking at them through the lens of information is unique and, as was noted by last year’s participants, leads to unexpected connections and insights.

The conference is hosted by Stockholm Business School (SBS), one of the largest departments of Stockholm University. The University, which dates back to 1878, is a regional center for research and education, set in a wonderful cultural and natural environment in the world's first national city park. SBS is located at the beautiful Kräftriket campus within walking distance from the city center.

Organizing committee: Michał Dzieliński (chair), Daniel Buncic, Björn Hagströmer, Jens Josephson, Lu Liu, Lars Nordén, Abalfazl Zareei, Fatemeh Aramian (poster session) and Oskar Sjölander (administration)
